New in piJnz: mobile coupons, mobile sitemaps, better dashboard, and more

We are happy to announce a couple of powerful features that we’ve added to piJnz platform this week:

1. Mobile Coupon Generator

In the US coupon usage has been on the rise (probably due to the recession, as well as the popularity of the digital coupons and the daily deal sites that made coupons not only easier to distribute and use, but also more socially acceptable).

Our new mobile coupon generator comes with a few powerful features:

  • (Optional) controlled redemption: coupon can be redeemed once per customer (to help prevent coupon fraud or abuse)

  • Coupons can be redeemed at multiple stores, with store tracking

  • With multiple location redemption visitors see the location closest to them

  • Automated scheduling (start date and expiration date)

  • (Optional) coupons can be shared on Facebook, Twitter or via email

  • An option to save the coupon to the visitor's phone or email to themselves

  • Coupon redemptions are recorded in the control panel (we will be expanding on the detailed reporting functionality soon)

  • Add any other widgets to the coupon mobile page (image galleries, video, etc)

We've researched quite a few interesting stats (some of which were very surprising) regarding coupons and the latest trends. But stats are boring, so we put together this fun infographic on coupon usage and general latest trends.

Check out our infographic: coupons are on the rise to see why you may want to add mobile coupons and deals as part of your mobile marketing mix.

2. A better account dashboard

It was time for some clean-up and organizing. Now, when you click on "use this account", you are presented with a nice dashboard containing shortcuts to functions related to that account (domain information, pages, mobile redirect, custom .mobi setup, m-commerce, etc, etc).

3.  "Like" a Facebook page directly from the mobile page

Before, the "Like" button in our Social Buzz widget allowed visitors to "Like" the mobile page only.  Now, you also have an option to connect the "Like" button to your Facebook page directly, so that when the mobile visitors tap on "Like", they are "liking" your Facebook page (not the mobile page).

4.  Sitemap upload added

Now you can upload a sitemap for your mobile sites (and submit the mobile sitemap to Google) - for improved visibility with the search engines.

What are your thoughts on our latest features?

Any feedback is welcome!
