Build mobile sites even faster - with reusable/shared widgets

Here at piJnz we are very excited to announce a few new features that were released recently:

1. Build mobile sites even faster - with custom shared widgets. Do you find yourself configuring the same contact options or footer information on every page of the mobile site? Away with that duplicate work! Now you can save your configured widgets into your own custom shared widgets library, and simply drag them onto other pages on the mobile site.

Together with the custom themes feature that we added a few weeks ago, you can now build your reusable "blocks" (page sections or design preferences) and apply them to multiple pages. And if any changes come up later, they only need to be done once and applied accross all pages on the same domain. (Note: reusable/shared widgets can be added to pages within the same mobile domain/website).
Watch this 4 minute video on how this is done:

2. Improved "app download" instructions. In the Page Editor bottom left section you can find an option "Add download instructions to this page". Selecting this option will add a small transparent overlay to the bottom of the mobile page with the instructions on how to save this mobile site as an app on the visitor's home screen. Our system will detect the mobile platform (e.g. iPhone, Android), and display the instructions for that device.

3. An option to contact via email was added to the standard action list. Now you can link any button or a "hot spot" on a graphic directly to the email option. Tapping on that option would open the email client on the phone, with the email address populated in the "to" field.

4. QR code in a vector format. Some of you have requested an option to download QR codes in a vector format. This is now available (in PDF and SVG formats).
There is also an option to download the QR code in any color (was added in a previous release).

More goodies coming up! Stay tuned, and cheers!
