New in piJnz: Mobile Directory features, SEO enhancements, and more

Our piJnz team has been working hard these last few weeks, and we are excited to finally announce the list of latest enhancements.

1. First, let's start with our new product - Mobile Directory. Since going live with it, we've been getting really great feedback (thank you!). This morning we've published a few new features, based on popular requests:

  • You can now customize your mobile directory just like you would any mobile page on piJnz - just drag and drop your widgets (a header image, links to your business categories, or a "how-to" video) into your mobile directory page, and customize the look-and-feel via our standard page editor.

  • Create your own business categories (or sub-categories), so that your visitors can browse your mobile directory listings by interest.
(Please check our "getting started" page in the next couple of days, new "how-to" videos will be posted soon.)

We would like to invite you to a 30 minute webinar to learn more about piJnz Mobile Directory as well as the latest trends in local mobile search.
When: Thursday, August 7, 2012, 11:00AM CST.

(Note: this will be a re-run of our previous webinar, plus we will cover the new features added this week).

2. Second, we've added a few SEO enhancements to help your mobile pages rank higher with the search engines. You can now add ALT tags to any images (and image slide shows), and assign Keyword tags to any page. On the Page Edit screen on the right you'll see a new section "SEO and Access", where you can also set the page edit permissions for your clients.

3. Make your image galleries even more interactive by adding links to each image!

4. You can now customize the footer of any mobile site with your own links - to your legal pages, contact information, or anything else that should go into the site footer.

5. On your Admin dashboard you'll see a section for "Localization and Languages". This is where you can replace "miles" with "kilometers" and adjust the date format of your mobile coupons. (Full support for a few foreign languages will be coming next).

6. Integration with Highrise CRM - now you can send your mobile form submissions directly into your Highrise account.

Cheers, and stay tuned for more news!
